Partial Nephrectomy

In a Partial Nephrectomy the surgeon removes a cancerous tumor or diseased tissue and saves the healthy kidney tissue. It is technically feasible and safe from oncology side to remove only the part of the kidney which is containing the cancer. The procedure is called partial nephrectomy.

This surgery can be performed with open access, laparoscopic technique or robotic assisted.

It is a more difficult and demanding procedure than the radical nephrectomy and is performed only by highly specialized surgical teams. It is considered by experts “the most difficult surgical procedure in urology”.

We represent a surgical team who have been practicing for many years laparoscopic or robotic partial nephrectomy as an ideal choice of treatment for many patients. The team’s experience in robotic surgery helps to reduce the suffering of the patient. Young patients with no health problems usually go home at the next day of the surgery and return to work in less than 20 days.
